Sindh Energy Holding Company (SEHCL) is committed to conducting its operations with integrity, transparency, and accountability. As a government-owned entity, SEHC recognizes its responsibility to act in accordance with applicable laws, internal policies, and ethical standards. To support this commitment, the Company has established a Whistle Blowing Policy to encourage employees, contractors, service providers, and other stakeholders to report genuine concerns regarding any misconduct or unethical behavior.

Purpose of the Policy

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Promote a culture of openness, accountability, and integrity
  • Provide a clear and confidential mechanism for reporting suspected misconduct
  • Ensure that concerns are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Protect whistle blowers from retaliation when concerns are raised in good faith

What Can Be Reported

This policy covers concerns related to, but not limited to:

  • Fraud, corruption, or misuse of public/company funds
  • Breach of the Company’s Code of Conduct or internal policies
  • Theft, embezzlement, or misappropriation of assets
  • Workplace harassment or discrimination
  • Health, safety, or environmental violations
  • Abuse of authority or conflict of interest
  • Any action that may bring disrepute to SEHCL or affect its integrity

Confidentiality and Whistle Blower Protection

All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality. The identity of the whistle blower will be protected to the maximum extent possible, and will not be disclosed without consent, unless required by law.

SEHCL prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who raise concerns in good faith. Any attempt to harass, intimidate, or retaliate against a whistle blower will be dealt with under applicable disciplinary procedures.

Responsibility and Implementation

All employees and stakeholders are encouraged to act responsibly and report any concerns they genuinely believe indicate misconduct or wrongdoing. Raising concerns helps protect the organization and promotes a healthy work environment.
